Applications are now being accepted to work as a counselor for Longhorn Music Camp this coming summer! The counselors play a pivotal role in the success of the camp, working closely with over 1,000 middle and high school students during their time on campus to make sure they have a great camp experience. Counselors are currently enrolled or recently graduated students of UT Austin.

Counselors are tasked with supervising our students during recreational activities, meal times, and overnight in the residence halls. They also play an important role in helping our various camp programs run smoothly through various administrative tasks and working closely with camp faculty to help their instructional activities. We are looking for a team of individuals who are a) highly responsible and dependable, b) would serve as excellent role models for young musicians, and c) are willing to work hard and know how to have fun while doing it!

If you are interested in applying, please complete the application at the link below. This application is due to be completed by the end of the day Sunday, April 8. You will then be contacted to schedule a brief interview. During your interview, you will need to share with us any information about conflicts with the camps you are scheduled to work, including your summer classes. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about how the camp is structured. Salary varies depending on which camp programs you are assigned to work.
